How We Capture Your Training

Training events come in all shapes and sizes.  Each trainer will have developed a particular delivery style and will utilise a variety of different visual aids.  Our task is to work with the trainer to ensure that we capture the essence, the liveliness and the content of the event.  To do this well use a  number of techniques.

First, many trainers use PowerPoint as the peered communications tool - but not all.  If PowerPoint is used then we will video the training session and map the audio to individual slides and transitions.  Where you speak an extended period either to a slide or just to the audience then we will insert a video clip into the presentation.  You might for example be demonstrating or answering questions from the audience.

Questions from the audience can be very difficult to get right.  Technically, it is difficult to capture every question without losing spontaneity.  A roving wireless microphone is ideal but can be intrusive.  The alternative is to use small table top microphones and this works well for small groups of up to 15 participants.  You of course will be wired up with a wireless lapel microphone which will ensure excellent audio quality.

As a trainer, you might want to use a whiteboard or flipchart.  No problem, we will capture whatever is written and turn it into a presentation slide.  Want to show a spreadsheet or document.  Again, no problem.  We will record whatever is projected onto a screen - without loss of quality - together with your explanation or discourse.

There may be times during the training session where you ask participants to work in groups or complete an exercise.  Our approach is to incorporate worksheets or questions into the published course that trainees will then be able to download and complete.  When groups feed back into a plenary session then this input can also be captured.

All training sessions have a purpose, which generally is to improve individual and corporate performance.  It is therefore important to measure attainment and log completion.  We can incorporate SCRORM-compliant quizzes into the captured training that can be linked into a learning management system.  This may reside on a corporate intranet or Reach22's own learning management system. Either way, the sponsor of the training can receive up to the minute attainment and completion reports.
